Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios. The storyline is based around the superheroes and multiple universes of DC Comics series. In this parallel universe, Superman has become a tyrannical ruler after being tricked by the Joker into destroying Metropolis and killing Lois Lane. Batman is determined to stop this villainous version of Superman, and must assemble a team of DC heroes from across various universes to defeat the earth’s former protector and his totalitarian regime.
The player select various characters. Not just superheroes, but supervillains too. The objective is to engage other characters in combat and knock them out.
