Mahjong Deluxe Plus is a mahjong solitaire game with 18 different layouts. The player must find the pairs of identical tiles and clear them from the table. This game uses the traditional Chinese mahjong tiles.
The player can tap on two identical tiles to combine them. This is called a Meld. The player cannot select all tiles, however. Only the tiles that are free on at least one of the long sides are playable. Tiles also cannot be selected if they are wholly or partially covered by another tile.
