Patterns Link is a Mahong Connect game (sometimes also called Nikakudori, Shisen Sho, or Connect-2). The player must connect the identical pairs of patterned tiles to clear them from the board.
The player can only connect two tiles if the line that runs between them makes no more than two ninety-degree turns. The line is not allowed to run through any other tiles, but must move between them.
